In-Canada application (Live-in Caregivers - LCP) PDF Print E-mail

Live-in Caregivers who desire permanent residence in Canada and have been working in Canada under the Live-in Caregiver Program for at least two of the past three years can apply. They must have a valid Work Permit to work in a home providing live-in care for children, seniors or the disabled.

Application to sponsor a member of the family class PDF Print E-mail

This application package is for Canadian citizens and permanent residents who wish to sponsor:

  • a spouse, common-law or conjugal partner; or
  • Dependent children.
  • parents
  • grandparents

Note: Canada’s citizenship law was amended to allow Canadian citizens who adopt a child from a foreign country the option of applying for Canadian citizenship for their adopted child without first having to apply for permanent residence.
